1.3 Account Information: You are required to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information during the registration and account creation process. Any changes to your account information should be promptly updated to ensure accuracy.

1.4 Security Obligations: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Lapis cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with this security obligation. If you suspect unauthorized access or activity on your account, you must promptly notify Lapis.

1.5 Single User Access: Your login credentials, including your username and password, are for your personal use only. They may not be shared or used by multiple individuals or entities. A single login should be used by a single person.

1.6 Security Practices: You should follow best practices for online security, including using strong, unique passwords, enabling two-factor authentication if available, and keeping your login credentials confidential.

1.7 Unauthorized Use: You are responsible for any unauthorized use of your account, whether it is authorized by you or not. Lapis will not be liable for any actions, proceedings, claims, damages, liabilities, charges, losses, or costs and expenses resulting from unauthorized access or use of your account.

1.8 Bots and Automated Methods: Accounts registered or accessed by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted and will be subject to termination.

2.1 Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights in any content you create or upload to Lapis, including text, images, datasets, and other media ("User Content"). You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to publish and share your User Content.

2.2 License to Lapis: By using Lapis, you grant Lapis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and transferable license to reproduce, modify, adapt, and publish your User Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing, and promoting your content within the platform.

2.3 No Plagiarism: Plagiarism is strictly prohibited on Lapis. You may not use or copy the work of others without proper attribution or authorization. If you use third-party content in your work, you must ensure that you have the appropriate permissions or licenses.

2.4 Waiver of Rights: You understand and agree to waive any rights you may have against Lapis, its assignees, sublicensees, and their assignees, in relation to the use of Your Content in connection with the provision of the Services.

2.5 Deletion of Content: If you delete Your Content, Lapis will make reasonable efforts to remove it from the platform, but you acknowledge that caching or references to Your Content may not be immediately unavailable.

2.6 Backups: You are solely responsible for securing and backing up Your Content.

2.7 Exclusion of Liability: You are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, Your Content. Lapis takes no responsibility and shall assume no liability for Your Content.

3.1 Infringement of Copyright: Users are prohibited from transmitting, distributing, posting, storing, or otherwise engaging in any activity that infringes, misappropriates, or violates a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity.

3.2 Privacy Violations: Users must not engage in activities that invade any individual’s rights of privacy, including the unauthorized collection or dissemination of personal information.

3.3 Criminal Activity: Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in any conduct that violates applicable laws or regulations or would give rise to civil or criminal liability.

3.4 Fraudulent or Deceptive Content: Users must not transmit or promote content that is fraudulent, false, misleading, deceptive, untruthful, or inaccurate.

3.5 Inappropriate Content: Lapis does not tolerate the posting of content that is defamatory, libelous, offensive, profane, or depicts explicit pornography that is in breach of applicable laws and regulations.

3.6 Discriminatory or Harmful Content: Users must not promote discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, abuse, or harm against any individual or group.

3.7 Violence and Threats: Content that is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any other person is strictly prohibited.

3.8 Illegal or Harmful Activities: Users must not promote illegal or harmful activities or substances in breach of applicable laws and regulations.

3.9 Unsolicited Marketing, Junk, and Spam: Users are prohibited from sending any unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, email, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of solicitation.

3.10 Inappropriate Use of Lapis's Name: Users must not use Lapis's name or branding in any manner that misrepresents or misappropriates Lapis's identity.

3.11 Circumvention of Technical Measures: Users are not allowed to avoid, bypass, remove, deactivate, impair, descramble, or otherwise circumvent any technological measure implemented by Lapis or any third party to protect the Services or data stored on our Services, including Content.

3.12 Unauthorized Downloads: Users should not attempt to access or download data or Content from Lapis without proper authorization.

3.13 Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity, including Lapis's employees or representatives, is strictly prohibited.

3.14 Respect for Community Rules: Users are expected to adhere to any community guidelines or rules established by Lapis for the appropriate use of the platform.

3.15 Prohibited Content: Users must not post or promote content that is prohibited by this agreement or violates any applicable laws or regulations.

4.1 Content Moderation: Lapis reserves the right, without exception, to monitor and review user-generated content posted on the platform. Lapis may, at its sole discretion, remove or restrict access to any content that violates these terms or is otherwise deemed harmful or objectionable.

4.2 User Account Management: Lapis retains the right to manage user accounts, including but not limited to suspending, terminating, or restricting access to accounts that violate these terms, engage in malicious activities, or pose a threat to the community or the platform's security.

4.3 Service Modifications: Lapis may modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the platform or its services, including features, functionalities, or access to certain content. Users will be notified of significant changes when feasible.

4.4 Enforcement of Terms: Lapis reserves the right to enforce these terms, investigate violations, and take appropriate legal action when necessary, including cooperating with law enforcement authorities.

4.5 User Data: Lapis may access, preserve, or disclose user data, including content and personal information, when required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lapis, its users, or the public.

4.6 Intellectual Property: Lapis retains all rights, title, and interest in its intellectual property, including trademarks, service marks, graphics, logos, and proprietary information. Nothing in this agreement confers any license or ownership of Lapis's intellectual property to users.

4.7 Content Removal: Lapis reserves the right to remove or disable access to any content, including user-generated content, that violates these terms or applicable laws, or that may harm the platform or its users. Users understand and agree that caching or references to removed content may not be made immediately unavailable.

4.8 Technical Measures: Lapis may implement technological measures to protect the platform, its services, and user data. Users must not attempt to circumvent or disable these measures.

4.9 Cooperation with Authorities: Lapis may cooperate with law enforcement authorities and other relevant entities to investigate and prosecute violations of these terms or illegal activities related to the platform.

4.10 Discontinuation of Services: Lapis reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or terminate any or all of its services at its sole discretion. In such cases, users will be provided with notice when feasible.

6.1 User Content: Users retain all intellectual property rights in their User Content, as outlined in Section 2. However, by submitting User Content to Lapis, you grant Lapis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and transferable license to reproduce, modify, adapt, and publish your User Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing, and promoting your content within the platform, as described in Section 2.2.

6.2 Lapis's Rights and Retentions: Lapis owns and retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including but not limited to all software, technology, designs, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights associated with the Services. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed as granting you any license or rights to use Lapis's name, branding, or intellectual property, except as expressly authorized in this policy.

6.3 No Conferred License: Nothing in this agreement shall be construed as conferring any license to users of Lapis's intellectual property rights. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works based on Lapis's intellectual property, except as expressly permitted by Lapis in writing.

Integration with Third-Party Services: Lapis may integrate with third-party applications or services. Your use of such third-party services is subject to their terms and policies. Lapis is not responsible for any actions or consequences resulting from your use of third-party services.

8.1 Termination by Users: Users may terminate their Lapis account at any time by following the account closure instructions provided on the platform.

8.2 Termination by Lapis: Lapis reserves the right to terminate or suspend user accounts, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or any activities that may harm the platform, its users, or the community.

9.1 As-Is Service: Lapis provides its services "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Lapis does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of its services and disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Use at Your Own Risk: Users understand and agree that they use Lapis's services at their own discretion and risk. Lapis shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or harm resulting from the use of the platform.

10.1 Liability Limitation: In no event shall Lapis, its affiliates, partners, employees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from the use or inability to use the platform's services.

10.2 Maximum Liability: Lapis's maximum liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, shall be limited to the amount paid by the user to Lapis, if any, for the use of its services during the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.
