Custom code block.
- Added a new content block for custom code, letting you write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript directly in your stories.

Choropleth map block.
- You can create choropleth maps to show data across different regions.

- Edit your map data directly in a table, similar to a spreadsheet.
- Set custom color scales for your map data, defining specific value ranges.
- The system automatically matches your data to map regions.

Mapbox embed block.
- Added a new Mapbox content block for embedding maps.
- Preserves the original zoom value for Mapbox maps when no new zoom is specified.
- Provided ways to set map views and styles within the story builder.
- Shows real-time previews of Mapbox maps as you make changes.
Mapbox token management
- You can now manage your Mapbox API credentials for your content. Allowed saving and using personal Mapbox tokens for maps.
- You can add, edit, and remove Mapbox access tokens.
- Displays your saved Mapbox access tokens for easy selection.
- Added a new 'Connected Accounts' section to account settings.
Maintenance mode.
- New maintenance page appears during system maintenance.
- Added the ability to schedule system maintenance for automatic activation. This allows for planned service updates.
- Visiting any page during maintenance directs you to the maintenance page.
- Get on-screen messages about maintenance.
- The maintenance page shows social media links.
- Stay logged in during system maintenance.

User Interface

Charts and maps now have their own sections when you add a new data vis block.
Removed autocomplete suggestions from the content block menu.
Resolved an issue where text in single-selection dropdowns was cut off on small screens.

Performance & Reliability

These updates were deployed within a patch version of v1.2.6 on Thursday, 21 August 2025:
- Made deployments more stable by preventing memory-related crashes during updates.
- Reduced the time it takes for new updates to go live.
